Our Newest Addition

And no it's not a baby. Matt got a new car! This is a big deal for anyone who knows my sweet little indecisive husband. It's been a long time coming, and it didn't happen a moment too soon. And trust me, it was quite the ordeal. Anyone want to know Matt's favorite things about the new car? Power locks, keyless entry, and cupholders. If that's not endearing, then I don't know what is. The really, truly best thing about the new car: awesome gas mileage. Which means (hopefully, maybe) a lot more traveling for the Matthews family!! We're reeeaaally missing the 'Sip these days and can't wait to go on a few road trips!

Oh, and in case you're wondering, here are some of the general dos and don'ts regarding the new car:

Do: look at, admire, and/or say nice things about it
Don't: scratch anything off of it with your fingernail
Don't: open your car door on it (although, I would be thoroughly impressed with anyone who actually managed to do this considering our new parking strategy... which brings me to the next point)
Do: park in the parking spot that's furthest away from the destination, preferably next to a curb, leaving at least 3 feet on the other side between the side of the car and the painted line
Do: knock any ground particles off of your feet before getting into the car
Don't: Even think about stealing it
Do: slow down to a near stop at railroad tracks
Don't: let any hairs drop in the car (this one is quite a challenge for someone who sheds as much as I do)
Don't: get in the car if your name is Snickers

These are just the ones I've learned this past week. Stay tuned as I'm sure there are many more to come.

Hi!

Well, we finally have a blog. Yay for conformity! But, in the words of Rizzo from Grease, there are worse things I could do, and so now it's done. Because I have no clue what to write to intrigue the 1-4 people who may actually be reading this, I'll leave you with this:

You're welcome. :)
